An idealistic freshman forges a community away from home during her first collegiate weekend, but her rejection of her hallmate’s abrasive boyfriend's advances threatens her newfound security in this short film adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona. 

An anxious assisted-living facility caretaker competes in the final round of an amateur cribbage tournament to win back the love and affection of her wards from the awful eight-year-old grandson who beat her last year.

Published in the May 2022 issue of The Bowdoin Journal of Cinema, "The Exquisite Corps Politique" documents the broadened French national identity being created by contemporary European and Europhile filmmakers. Films mentioned in the paper include: Jérémy Clapin’s I Lost My Body (2019), Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun (2021), Ladj Ly’s Les Misérables (2019), and Agnes Varda and JR's Faces Places (2017). The paper was originally written for "Envisioning Contemporary Europe," taught by Professor Jim Collins at The University of Notre Dame.
